Patricia Resnick is a writer and producer of films, television and theatre. Writer of the original screenplay for the film 9 to 5, a comedy classic and one of the top-grossing films of all time, she recently sold a sequel to the film that she will executive produce as well as co-write with Rashida Jones. It’s set to star Dolly Parton, Lily Tomlin and Jane Fonda. Recent television credits include co-Executive Producer on Netflix’s Armistead Maupin’s Tales of The City, starring Laura Linney and Ellen Page and Consulting Producer roles on multiple hour dramas, including the final season of Mad Men. Her theatre work includes her Drama Desk nominated book for 9 TO 5 THE MUSICAL on Broadway which garnered four Tony nominations.
