Ana Maria graduated from NIDA in 1998. She first starred in the hit musicals Fame and Hair (Green Room Award nomination), and other theatre credits include The Listmaker (Bell Shakespeare), Tribes (Ensemble) for which she received a Sydney Theatre Award nomination and a Glugs Award, Noises Off (Ensemble), Dr Akar’s Women (Griffin), Snugglepot & Cuddlepie (Company B), Steel Magnolias (Australian tour) and Fawlty Towers Live (Australian tour). Ana Maria recently made her return to musical theatre in In the Heights (Blue Saint), followed by Miracle City (NIDA). Her television credits include All Saints, Home & Away, White Collar Blue, Life Begins (UK), According to Bex (UK), House Husbands, Doctor Doctor, Secret City 2 and Frayed. Ana Maria has appeared in the feature films A Cold Summer, The Book of Revelation, The Casting Game and Unsound. She won the Tropfest Women in Film Award for her short film Things to Do. Ana Maria is deaf and proud to be an ambassador for The Shepherd Centre.
